Thanasis Jamurtas (Programme Coordinator)

Thanasis Jamurtas is a Professor in Biochemistry of exercise. He received his BSc from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1988), his MSc from Syracuse University (1993) and his PhD in Exercise Physiology/Biochemistry from University of North Carolina at Greensboro (1997). He has published more than 130 peer reviewed papers and his work has received more than 3200 citations.

Yannis Koutedakis

Yiannis Koutedakis is a Professor in Exercise Physiology. He received his BSc from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1974), his MSc from Birmingham University (1984) and his PhD in Exercise Physiology from Birmingham University (1991). He has published more than 170 peer reviewed papers and his work has received more than 4000 citations.

Giannis Giakas

Giannis is an Associate Professor(Biomechanics) and Coordinates the Biomechanics Lab at IRETETH/CERTH.
